It’s that time of year again!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and for many of us, even those who may not run very much throughout the year, we are signing up for our local Turkey Trot!
The Turkey Trot represents many things. For some it is a way to justify all the food they will eat later in the day. For others it is motivation to help them lose a few pounds before the holiday season kick off. And for some it is a simply Thanksgiving tradition to enjoy a fun time with family.
While the distance can vary from a 1 mile fun run all the way to a half marathon (13.1 miles), the overwhelmingly most popular distance is the 5K (3.1 miles). In my opinion, you should sign up for one.
